METECO is a member of the Association of Industries of Northern Greece (ABG). As a leading recycling industry, it contributes to the protection, promotion and study of the ethical, economic and professional interests of Greek industry. At the same time, it contributes to the promotion of industrial activity and employment, the development of the national economy and the protection of the environment. To achieve the above, we utilize the knowledge and experience of our people.
Our contribution to achieving the above objectives is achieved through a series of actions. First, we participate in organizations, committees, development agencies and conferences of the European Union, the Balkans, the Mediterranean and other countries. Second, we submit proposals and interventions for the improvement of the legislative and regulatory framework of our country. Third, we contribute to the design and implementation of initiatives (studies, scientific conferences, conferences, etc.) to strengthen entrepreneurship.
The SBVE was founded in 1915 and its President is Mr. Athanasios Savvakis.
