Detailed information on the 2017 Traffic Taxes
For passenger cars registered until 31/10/2010 , the calculation of traffic taxes is made exclusively based on their engine capacity as shown in the table below:

For cars registered from November 1, 2010 onwards, the fees are calculated based on the emission of pollutants. To obtain the amount of the fees, the emissions are multiplied by the price of the corresponding bracket from the table below:

Printing the license plate
Once again this year, owners will print the traffic fees from the special GSPS application , filling in their VAT number and Vehicle Registration Number.
Car Withdrawal
To avoid being charged with the 2017 traffic tax, you must deliver your car to an Official Withdrawal Center by December 20, 2016 .
