In recent years, initiatives by public and private entities have shown that adopting green solutions is the only way forward. KORRES is leading the way by showing that recycling is just the beginning. At the same time, it shows that it is now essential for organizations to adopt a Zero Waste philosophy . This is why the company created Recycle Lab : a comprehensive cosmetic packaging recycling program.
At Recycle Lab, plastic, glass and paper cosmetic packaging is recycled. In other words, packaging gets a second chance and becomes an element of everyday life again. From the recyclable packaging, artistic or utilitarian objects are created which are then offered as gifts to those who participate in the recycling program. The design of the objects is done by the company’s designers.
There are special bins in pharmacies that collect used packaging materials. There, the KORRES Recycle Lab invites consumers to return their empty cosmetic packaging – plastic, paper, glass.
Participation is simple, in which the consumer:
- First, it collects empty cosmetic containers
- He places them in the special bins in pharmacies.
- Receives a gift , made from recycled packaging, for every 5 recycled packaging .
The above initiative is not just an action but a movement, which is an example for other organizations to follow. Therefore, reducing the environmental footprint of every company should be a priority on the agenda of decision makers. Beyond social responsibility, the benefit is also financial, as modern consumers seem to embrace green brands.
