METECO sponsors the theatrical production “Romeo and Juliet” of the NTNG

METECO, a leading company in the field of vehicle recycling and scrapping in Greece, supported the recent production of the State Theatre of Northern Greece (NTNG) ” Romeo and Juliet – The Wonderful and Lamentable Tragedy “, by William Shakespeare, by offering to sponsor a scrapped vehicle for the needs of the theatrical production .

The performance, translated by Dionysis Kapsalis and directed, set and choreographed by Konstantinos Rigos , was a modern, bold reading of the classic work and was presented at the Theatre of the Society for Macedonian Studies .

From retirement… to the stage

The donated vehicle was not a simple means of transportation. It was a vehicle that had completed its life cycle and was responsibly retired , through the vehicle retirement and recycling process by METECO. The utilization of a retired vehicle for the needs of the stage action highlights in practice how recycling can have real reuse value .

Corporate Social Responsibility

This specific sponsorship confirms METECO’s commitment to supporting organizations and actions with multiple social, environmental and cultural dimensions .
